There are many different camera styles and types available for different applications. The most popular and widely used camera is the Infrared Day Night Indoor Outdoor camera with a 3.5MM lens. The reason is the camera will deliver quality video in day time and well lit night time scenarios and the 3.5MM lens delivers the best video for up close viewing and distant viewing of up to 100 feet. For low light applications viewing is good for up to 30’. Manual varifocal lenses are available for these cameras. The manual varifocal lens means you can adjust the distance of the viewing from the camera.

Dome Cameras are a more decorative camera for indoor applications. Some dome cameras are available with a smoked lens so patrons or the public have difficulty noticing where the camera lens is pointing. Dome cameras are also available for a day night application that will provide viewing in low lit situations of up to 30 feet. Manual varifocal lenses are available for these cameras. The manual varifocal lens means you can adjust the distance of the viewing from the camera.

Bullet Cameras are more of a bullet type camera as shown in the images below that provide all of the same features as a dome camera but the public can see where the camera is pointing. The Day Night Camera is a bullet camera with Infrared LEDs installed.

Discreet cameras are cameras that are either small cameras about the size of one inch by one inch or small cameras placed in a clock, a radio, speaker, or a detector that utilize a 3.5 MM camera for the best viewing in a room or other indoor or outdoor application.
